I'm So Thankful For Those Rejections...

      I was looking through my old emails today looking for something and realized I missed my anniversary of my first Literary Rejection. That may not seem like something to celebrate, but to me, it is. 

     In Jan of 2011 I queried for the very first time. And waited. When I got the rejection, I didn't query again until April (3 years ago today) because I thought that one rejection meant I was an awful writer. When my husband finally convinced me to start again, I got 26 more rejections between May and June of that year. Not even a week after my last rejection, I published my first book. 

      Now, 19 books under my belt and 2 more to come this year...I'm so grateful for those rejections.
