WIN an ARC of THE OTHER SIDE OF GRAVITY

THE OTHER SIDE OF GRAVITY!
It's almost here!

Want to WIN a signed ARC? Along with a keychain and a signed swag pack?
Of course you do.

Are you ready to be plunged into a different world? Maxton and Sophelia's world is harsh and hard. They depend on the government for everything, even the air they breath...

My name is Maxton and I’m a trader.

I live on a soulless planet where gravity, oxygen, and everything else are sold to the highest bidder on the black market. People are sold on the black market, too. You have to work really hard not to become one of those people. Pay your taxes, keep your friends and family close, and more than anything else—don’t get caught by the Militia. But all the rules changed for me the day I found her.

My name is Sophelia and I’m a stowaway.

I’ve been a slave for almost as long as I can remember. Waiting for the one day, one second, for my proprietor to turn his head so I could run and never look back. Now I'm on the run. And on a planet where no one is on your side and people would turn you in for a good meal or a piece of a silver, being on the run on Landu is the last place you want to be. Until he found me.

I won't survive without him.

I can't breathe without her.

  1. My favorite trope is enemies to lovers, there's something about the banter that usually comes along with it that I just love. I also love when authors create their own unique worlds. Fantasy/paranormal books are what got me into reading and continue to be my favorite reads today. So if a friend tells me that an author has done something they haven't read before, I'll definitely one click it.

  2. I love fantasy paranormal books... I don't know if I have a favorite trope.. As long as it is written well I'm game!!

  3. I like elements of urban fantasy in YA books, where something paranormal (vampires, aliens, etc) is happening in a real time and place I can relate to. I also like completely fictional, dystopian worlds, with fun technology and gadgets. And I like the student/teacher dynamic as long as the ages are legal and it's done tastefully. Really, I like so many different tropes, too many to think of right now. Thanks!

  4. I wasn't sure where to post this comment, but what I adore in books is paranormal romance. I absolutely LOVE in the Significance series how Caleb and Maggie are inside each other's heads. I become enraptured with the inner monologues between couple's, when there's that secrecy aspect of how only the two of them know what the other is thinking. I enjoy this in other books, as well. They aren't exactly the same but have that similar secrecy thing going on. Another thing I love is when the setting of a book is somewhere beautiful, like mountains or a forest and I can visualize the beauty of the scene. Thank you :)

  10. I love fantasy and YA books, anything that is an easy read that takes my mind off of the real world and transports me somewhere else. I also love when the descriptions of the main characters can draw me in. And of course a little romance in the background, especially a forbidden love. =)

  11. I like plot lines that build up to the main part in the story, especially if there is a conflict. I think I really like the build-up of everything that leads to that point of the story.

  13. For me if I know I love an author I will get their book without reading the blurb. I mainly go for books that are romance based whether it being paranormal or contemporary I don't mind as long as there's a great romance story involved.

  15. I think that one of the things that always makes me want to read a book is a struggle of some kind. Some huge issue that has to be overcome. Something tragic that needs working through, or needs a hero of some kind to mend it.

  16. I like variety, so there are a lot of things that intrigue me, though I really love a good love story, whether contemporary, paranormal, or fantasy. And if I love an author (like you), then I actually avoid the synopsis and one-click by faith. I can tell you what I don't like: cheating, adultery, excessive cliches.

  17. I'm not big on cheating. I like when books flow and when situations come up I like them resolved somewhat quickly. I don't like a lot of the second guessing than many books have in them.

  21. In a book I love to see a strong female lead who doesn't need a guy to complete her, but finds someone who loves her the way she is and that she can lean on if she ever needs to. I also love paranormal, fantasy and dystopian books. I love all of your books and can't wait to read TOSOG!

  22. I like fantasy, science fiction, paranormal, romance, mystery and others. I don't like horror. I believe likes are very personal and so I can't say any specifics further. I know I don't like it when an author is repetitive. I don't like poor editing.
