Interview and Giveaway: Quinn Loftis

The lovely Quinn Loftis stopped by to have a chat with me. And she's giving away an e-book copy of Prince Of Wolves, whose 4th sequel, Out of The Dark, will release June 7th!! I will be throwing in an ebook copy of the following two books in the series as well.

So, Quinn, tell us about yourself!!

1. How did you come up with the story line behind your books?

I can't honestly say how The Grey Wolves Series began. I just sat down one day and started writing. Often my books will write themselves as I go, though I may have a general outline in my head of what I want the story to be about. Just One Drop is book 3 in the series and built on the first 2.

2. Are you planning to keep going and going, going?

That's the goal!

3. What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A writer, then a teacher, then a writer, then a zoologist, then a writer again. It went on and on like that until I turned 31 and actually wrote a book. LOL.

4. Who's your favorite author and\or favorite book and why?

Favorite author in the Paranormal genre would be Patricia Briggs. Her books are interesting, fast paced, great characters and very electric relationships between her H&H.

Favorite book: Pride and Prejudice- come on, it's a classic!

5. Do you have a cast in mind if your book were ever to become a movie?

Not a clue. I'm not real familiar with the younger actors and actresses (that's really showing my age) but I imagine my fans would have suggestions!

6. What is something you wished you'd done differently when publishing your first book?

Better editing. Prince of Wolves is in the process of being re-edited and will be undergoing revisions. I will offer it as a free download for a while once its published newly revised.

7. What is something awesome that we can look forward to in future books?

For this series I think it's just getting to see our favorite characters lives pan out. Seeing where they end up after all of their trials. Book 7 in this series is going to be Vasile and Alina's story and I'm very excited about that one.

8. Any lessons learned or advice to new authors?

Get thick skin. Keep going even when you get discouraged. Never stop writing.

9. What's your absolute favorite thing about be an author?

Meeting all the amazing people who take time to read my books. You guys rock big time. Second favorite, meeting other amazing Indie authors, you guys rock big as well!

10. List 5 random things about yourself.

I sing, or hum, all the time and most of the time don't even realize I'm doing it.

I hate going into gas stations.

Sometimes I read the end of the book first to make sure it's a happy ending.

I have a Doberman Pinscher and she is the best dog ever.

I have purposely left out all the things I find annoying in other books out of my books.
