They are in VERY beginning stages of the movie process and have only done the investment trailer so far. Filming for the actual movie hasn't started yet and still won't for a few months. So they have no idea when it will be released. 
Updates will come as soon as they know things, just make sure you're following their Facebook and Twitter pages for the movie to get all the info from them. :)

  2. I am so excited!! Also, the song "Overwhelmed" by Tim McMorris reminds me of this series. Maggie and Caleb automatically pop into mind everytime I listen to this song... Which is often hahah

  8. yes please! i do hope the movie will be able to capture the whole essence of the book! and i hope it will be release here in Philippines.     Holy crap i think i just died and went ti heaven. Omg i love the books and i am going ti do anything and everything i can do to see this movie opening night whenever that is, but that doesn't matter to much as long as it is soon. So freaking happy right now, probably won't sleep cause i'm so excited.

  34. Shelly, you are truley brilliant. My heart honestly STOPPED when I saw the news. I called every single one of my friends, even if they didn't read your books, just so I could vent and prevent myself from fainting after this amazing news. I am seriously hoping the book will be in theaters, because I will honestly camp out for HOURS waiting for the midnight premiere. When will the official trailer be out? I need something to tide me over, or I might die from this treacherous waiting ;)

    When I first read this book I knew that if it was a movie I would watch as soon as it comes out. This would definitely be better than any supernatural fantasy love story and definitely better than twilight. I fell in love with the book; the very first page had me turning to the next. I even fell in love with Caleb and his family, God I would to become a Jacobson. I finished the entire series in one week because it was such a great book. Shelly I fell in love with your creation and cried my eyes out when it was the end. I’m actually reading the series again and it still touches my heart. Now I can’t wait for it to come out as a movie.
    Little tip from me: PLEASE KEEP THE MOVIE EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE STORY YOU HAVE WRITTEN.

  68. I am so excited for the movie. I've been with maggie and caleb since before ascend came out and its been killing me to wait so long between books. I was sad to read the final chapter but it was a great series. I see this becoming the next HUGE movie series. Congrats Shelly.

I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH!! i was reading it to my mum because its all so perfect! i wish i wasn't English and that i actually lived in America to audition for this role *sigh* and was famous so i could actually get it. Im 17, small (kinda 5'3) and blonde :( alas my dreams will never be! HAY HO, im so excited for this!!
